Pool Rules

 

Disciplinary Policy

 

 

#1 SIT OUT - Rule and or Safety violations after verbal warning.
#2 SENT HOME - Continual Rule / Safety violation or disrespectful behavior. Primary member will be notified.
#3 SUSPENSION OF MEMBERSHIP - Violent / Vulgar behavior or unacceptable rule / safety violations.
Parental supervision required to be present when member is allowed to re-enter.
#4 LOSS OF MEMBERSHIP - Any illegal behavior. Physical harm to another person, damage to any pool property.  Management reserves the right to terminate any Membership privileges for continual misconduct or non-compliance to rules.  

Rules
1. Guests entering may not live within the 2 square mile area of 31st to 41st & Garnett to 145th. No Exceptions.  We need Member/Owners in this area to support their Pool by Joining.
2. Anyone under the age of 10 must be accompanied by a member over the age of 16 years old.
3. Be responsible. The Pool association accepts no responsibly for injuries or property damage as a result of activity or violation of the pool rules.
4. No Running, No horseplay, No pushing/pulling in or out of the pool. No hanging on the ropes, No sitting on tables, No climbing on poles or fences, No profanity or any disrespect to staff/members, No WEAPONS or ILLEGAL ACTIVITY.
5. Communicable Diseases : No open wounds, lesions, ringworm, plantar warts, athletes foot, allowed in water.
6. Proper swimwear required. only adults are admitted to Pool area in street clothes. No cut-offs, street shorts, etc. in the water.
7. Shower before swimming. Launder any swimwear after swimming in another pool, river or lake.
8. Lockable security baskets are free, member to provide lock. The Pool association is not responsible for lost/stolen property.  Do not stack personal items on tables, furniture or chairs.
9. Accidents: Report all accidents or injuries to the Office/Manager. In the case of emergency, primary contact will be notified and/or member will be attended to/transported by EMSA to a local medical facility/hospital.
10. No Visiting with guards on stands. NO visiting with pool staff on duty. Guard focus is to be on the water at all times.
11. No glass containers allowed, Use trash containers to dispose of all trash/containers.
12. No Roller Blades, skates or bicycles are allowed on property. No pets on premises at any time.
13. Smoking/Alcohol consumption allowed by adults only in designated areas. No intoxication allowed at any time.
14. No gum/tobacco chewing allowed on pool property.
15. Destroying Pool Property: Will result in loss of all membership privileges and may be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Trespassing prohibited year round.
16. Office Area: only authorized Pool personnel allowed in office area. No loitering near or around the office doors.
17. No personal Telephone calls. Phone use limited to three minute calls to parent or for transportation purposes.
18. Loitering in Parking Lot, near front sidewalk or in the entrance area prohibited at all times.
19. All balls, pool games, floatation devices must be of a soft nature and used for intended purposes only.
20. Life Jackets or etc. Must be coast guard approved and required for any limited ability swimmers.

Diving Board Rules
1. All persons using board must display proficient swimming ability at staff discretion.
2. No one allowed on stairs when someone is on the board. One person at a time on board.
3. No unnecessary  bouncing allowed on board. No jumping or diving from side of board.
4. No hanging on or under the boards. Exit water immediately at nearest ladder.
5. Wait for previous diver to exit at ladder before jumping. No catching of divers allowed.
6. Children under the age of 10 must have adult supervision at all times during board use.
7. No life jackets allowed on diving boards at any time.
8. Diving boards have a weight limit of 250 pounds.

Slide Rules
1. No floaties or life jackets, belts, loose straps, etc. allowed on slides at any time.
2. All persons using slides must display proficient swimming ability at staffs discretion.
3. No one allowed on stairs when someone is on slide landing, One person at a time down slides.
4. No hanging below or from slides. Exit water immediately after slide at nearest ladder.
5. Wait for slide area to clear before sliding. No catching of sliders allowed
6. Children under the age of 10 must have adult supervision during slide use.

Members must present Pool ID card to enter.
Members must follow all rules.
Members responsible for Guest behavior.
Pool may be closed at any time due to weather conditions.
